From the moment I stepped into the unforgiving halls of middle school, I knew I was different. I was the awkward, clumsy kid with a lisp and a penchant for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. It didn't take long for the teasing to begin. "Spazzy," they called me. "Loser." "Freak."

At first, I tried to ignore it. I pretended that their words didn't hurt. But as the years went on, the bullying only escalated. They would trip me in the hallways, steal my lunch money, and even create fake social media accounts to spread malicious rumors about me.

I became the class clown, the target of every joke, the one who was always there to make everyone else laugh. But behind the laughter, I was dying inside.

The constant humiliation took a heavy toll on my self-esteem. I started to withdraw from my friends and family, convinced that I was worthless and unlovable. I developed anxiety and depression, and I struggled to find joy in anything.

But even in the darkest of times, there was a flicker of hope. I found solace in writing, pouring my heart out into pages filled with both laughter and tears. I also discovered the power of humor, using it as a shield to protect myself from the pain.

As I got older, I slowly began to realize that I was not alone. There were others who had experienced similar pain, who had also been the butt of jokes and the victims of bullying. I found comfort in connecting with these people, sharing our stories and supporting each other.

One day, I decided to take my experiences and turn them into something positive. I wrote a book about my life as a joke, hoping to reach out to others who might be struggling with their own pain. I wanted to show them that it is possible to survive the laughter and the pain, and to come out stronger on the other side.

The book was a success, and it led to speaking engagements, workshops, and the opportunity to share my story with a wider audience. I realized that my life as a joke had given me a unique perspective, a gift that I could use to help others.

Today, I am a survivor. I am no longer the shy, insecure kid who was afraid to speak up. I am a confident, resilient woman who has found her voice and her purpose. I am using my experience to make a difference in the world, one joke at a time.

If you are being bullied, please know that you are not alone. There are people who care about you, and there is hope. Reach out to someone you trust, and don't give up on yourself. You are stronger than you think.

And if you are the one ng the bullying, please take a moment to think about the impact of your words. You never know what someone is going through, and your words could have a devastating effect. Choose kindness instead of cruelty, and make the world a better place.

My life as a joke has been a long and difficult journey, but it has also been a journey of growth, resilience, and triumph. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story, and I hope that it will inspire others to find their own strength and to make their own voices heard.
